Product Engineer
Position Description
- This opening is with [Company], a division of [Company] – a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets.
- This position will maintain the dimensional integrity of products via continuous improvement and maintenance. Interaction with customers to understand technical requirements and resolve issues. Program management of individual parts. Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and root cause analysis. Cost reduction through process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in engineering.
- 1+ years of applicable experience, tooling design and/or CAD experience a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, good PC skills, program management skills.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and ABS a plus.
- Good problem solving, statistical analysis and blueprint reading skills.
- Depending on qualifications and experience, this position may be filled as a grade 14-16.
