Senior Ecologist

Salary: £28000 - £38000

My client is a professional environmental consultancy with offices throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Senior Ecologist to be based from their office in London.

The ideal Senior Ecologist will have at least 5 years experience within ecology consultancy and hold at least one protected species licence (bat and GCN preferable). You will have excellent project management skills, being able to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with a varied client base.

As a Senior Ecologist you will be required to carry out a range of surveys and assessments. The majority of work will be with bats and therefore a specialism/licence in that area will be beneficial. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting EPSM licences. Other duties will include managing individual contracts and helping to win business.
