One of U.K’s largest market leading Engineering consultancies is recruiting a Geotechnical Design Engineer with a minimum of five years experience to be based in their Glasgow offices.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and eager geotechnical engineer to join a strong team of engineers within the infrastructure group. Successful candidates will have experience particularly in railway engineering and onshore wind farm design.
You will posses a Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering preferably with post graduate qualifications in a geotechnical discipline.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate technical experience undertaking and supervising site investigations, geotechnical design of foundations and retaining walls, technical reports, finite element analysis for complex soil structure interaction problems. Having further experience of railway tunnels would be extremely advantageous.

• Design requirements for various projects stated
• Technical report writing
• Site investigation management and supervision
• Slope stability analysis
• Client liaison
