This is a temporary position until September 2013.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Manager, Legal, Financial Operations the Paralegal will support the collections process, insolvency proceedings, liens and garnishees.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?

Assist various internal groups regarding outstanding collections
Administer claims regarding insolvency proceedings
Administer Builders’ Liens, operators’ and processors’ liens
Administer garnishee summons
Prepare routine correspondence and documentation
Respond to requests for documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Typically 3+ years of related industry experience in a land department, law firm, or legal department
Familiarity with and understanding of:
Microsoft Word
QBLM, Jiblink, EnterpriseOne, PowerView Document Viewer, AFE Navigator and Accumap
Working with large volumes of documentation
Working with confidential information
