As an industry leader in infrastructure and resources services, this established and sustainable contractor has become an employer of choice. They have a great reputation for delivering large scale projects, and are known for their focus and commitment. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Environmental manager to join their Surat Basin project team.
As the Environmental manager you will be responsible for managing the environmental requirements during the construction phase of the project. This will involve works planning, environmental monitoring, onsite auditing and inspections, risk assessments, training, and client liaison. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of environmental staff.
 
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Environmental Science / Engineering
• Extensive experience as an Environmental manager within heavy construction (LNG experience desirable)
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
• Project management experience with large infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Results driven with a desire to lead and mentor others 

In return you will be rewarded with a highly competitive package which will include a base salary commensurate to experience, superannuation, and a lucrative site allowance. Working a 14/7 roster, camp accommodation and travel will be provided.
