Job Description
The role of Mine Geologist will include but by no means be constrained to the following;
The supervision of RC grade control logging and programs
Conducting resource modeling
The formulation of accurate geological data, quality assurance & quality control
Striving to achieve optimum recovery and extraction outcomes whilst ensuring that safety procedures are being adhered to at all times
Liaising with other technical professionals and providing additional support to the Senior Mine Geologist as and when required
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have a can do attitude and be able to work well individually as well as within a team. You will have tertiary qualifications in Geology accompanied by demonstrated previous experience in an open pit mining environment (at least 3 yrs). You will be willing to live and work in Kalgoorlie and enthusiastic and keen to learn.
