Quarry Supervisor - Quarries - Mining

• up to $80,000 + 12% Super + Vehicle

We require a Quarry Supervisor for the North QLD region to provide assistance to the Management Team in building and developing a focused and motivated quarry team to achieve business objectives and operational targets whilst ensuring customer, safety, environmental and financial requirements are met.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Leadership and supervision of the quarry team
• Lead and promote a zero-harm culture
• Be involved in planning and budgeting activities
• Ensure costs are managed in line with agreed budgets
• Maximise plant efficiency in line with customer needs and achieve agreed targets
• Ensure site compliance with relevant mines and environmental regulations and legislation and company policies

Qualifications/Experiences: 

• Certificate (or higher) in Extractive Industries
• Demonstrated ability in Quarry/Mining Operations in a similar role
• Relevant operator tickets (Excavator, Front End loader, HR etc)

To be successful in this role you will need to have, sound communication, leadership and relation building skills with a strong numerical aptitude. You will also require to have sound knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations as well as solid knowledge of SHE Management Systems.
