Environmental Advisor

Our Client is a well renowned leader in the design, development and construction of mineral processing who are seeking to employ an Environmental Advisor due to an expansion of their projects division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business where you can utilise your skill set and be part of their Quality team.

In this diverse and challenging role your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Assist the organisation to design and construct the project whilst reducing environmental impacts.
  • Ensure improvements in environmental standards and performance are ad-heard to.
  • Expand an environmental communications program and be involved in environmental design reviews.
  • Provide advise and direction in relation to heritage sites in accordance with legal requirements
  • Manage environmental incidents (investigating, reporting and correcting)
 The successful candidate will need to have a Degree in Environmental Science or similar, previous experience with environmental approvals and a firm understanding of legislation. You will also have a solid skill set in environment auditing, incident investigation and report writing. Excellent communication skills and the ability to priorities and multi task will also be a plus. Good knowledge in the Microsoft suite and a solid team player are all a necessity. Hourly rate is dependent on experience; however the range will be between $75 - $85ph.
