About our Client
Our client are an international organisation who are looking to develop a large mining project in Australia. As a result they are looking to put together an owners team and are seeking the services of an experienced metallurgist / process engineer.

Job Description
As the Lead Process Engineer you will provide technical leadership in developing their flagship project from a design and project engineering output for the company's metallurgical/process group. You will also supervise the engineering design work and lead the ongoing development and optimization of metallurgical standards; the attraction and retention of technical talent; mentoring; and provide technical support to the group. More importantly, you will be a senior and influential figure within the group's management and play a significant role in setting the strategic direction to the business in relation to identifying and developing potential economic resource projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering;
• Significant exposure to working on complex metallurgical projects from an operational and design perspective;
• Specific knowledge in hydrometallurgy process such as leaching and solvent extraction;
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
