Recent developments have created the need for a Senior Metallurgist on one of their Australian operations.

Job Description
Reporting to the mining manager, this role will see you responsible for the overall management and development of the metallurgy staff. Your primary responsibility is to ensure production targets are met on time.

You will also be responsible for;

• Daily operation and monitoring of the process plant;
• Providing leadership to the metallurgical team;
• Troubleshooting on daily plant issues;
• Assist in metallurgy projects to help improve performance.

This role will be on a 8/6 roster from Adelaide.
 
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will possess the following;

• Degree qualifications in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering;
• Significant experience on a mineral processing facility;
• Prior experience in a leadership role is essential;
• Specific knowledge in comminution and separation processes.
