Job Description
The Business Development Manager will operate in the Pilbara region and delivers to a broad range of new clients within construction, mining and oil & gas. This role will require a customer focus as well as the ability to build new business relationships, communicate and effectively negotiate. Reporting into the Sales Manager this position offers a large degree of autonomy and is ideal for a candidate with exposure to the steel industry and a passion for sales.

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will ideally have;

• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales budgets
• Exposure to sales within the North West of WA
• Knowledge of Steel products will be highly regarded
• A team player with the ability to work on the road with minimal supervision
• Pro-active approach to developing new business opportunities through the use of cold calling, industry referrals and structured call cycles
• Strong presentation and communication skills are a must for this role.
