Are you our next Project Director, Ammonia Integration Project?

  • We are currently seeking a Project Director, Ammonia Integration Project for our Faustina, Louisiana location.  This position is Accountable for engineering, construction and start-up for a new ammonia plant in Louisiana. Responsible for selecting technology, selecting EPC contractor, securing other project contracts, hiring project organization internally and externally, planning and executing commissioning and start up.  This position is responsible for coordinating project related activities with supply chain, EHS, procurement, operations, senior management and steering committee.

What will you do?

  • Accountable for engineering, construction, procurements and starting up a multi-million dollar grass root ammonia plant. Set up all key project functions, groups, accountability, budget, schedule, milestones and communication channels.
  • Ensure coordination with supply chain, EHS, procurements, finance, operations, management team for effective communication and accountability.
  • Hire and set up appropriate project organization for each stage of the project.
  • Lead for all project related contract negotiations and administration of contracts on behalf of[Company] .

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline required.
  • A minimum of 15 years of large chemical/petrochemical grass root project management experience with at least 5 years as a Project Director or equivalent for a major project exceeding $500mm capex.
  • Must have experience in assembling teams and managing external project resources across multiple geographic poles, both directly and indirectly. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and direct work for multiple global employees and contractors.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
