Leading Multinational Manufacturer requires an experienced Sales Engineer to grow sales across VIC and the East Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in its field. They currently employ over 10,000 people and have served the resource and industrial world for over 50 years. Supplying industrial water application systems worldwide they are leaders in pumps, valves, pipes and turbines.
The opportunity:
The primary function of the role will be to proactively target new clients across the East Coast while based in Melbourne. You will be establisheing relationships with key decision makers with companies across oil and gas, mining, petreochemical and water. Working with a consultative approach, you will work alongside your clients in identifying problem areas within their business and providing solutions based on their requirements. Your technical aptitude will be tested before using your sales skills to sell the solution. Relationships will be built on outstanding customer service and you ability to deliver.
The successful applicant:
The ideal candidate would hold a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a trade specific qualification. Sales industry experience is a must. The successful candidate will have the ability to identify problem areas and provide solutions to potential customers. You will be dynamic and technically aware. Personal presentation and communication skills will be paramount.
On offer:
On offer for this position is an attractive package of up to $130,000 including 75,000 Base, Commissions, Car, Tools of the trade and Super.
