Commissioning Manager’s

Our EPCM client requires Commissioning Manager’s to undertake roles within a $multi-billion mine expansion project based in South Australia. Long term contract roles are available on the largest mining project in the country.


To be successful in obtaining one of the roles on offer, candidates must possess extensive commissioning experience within mining projects and previous EPCM experience will be desirable. A proven track record at management level within large scale project and strong mentoring, coordination and communication skills will also be required.


In exchange for meting these requirements the successful candidate will have the choice of multiple rosters and the chance to make their mark within the mining industry by holding a senior role within the largest project of its kind in Australia.


General duties and responsibilities will be to:
 

• Be able to identify the requirements for engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages
• Oversee the quality of the engineering deliverables
• Be able to ensure the implementation of the project engineering procedures  
• Liaise with engineering and technical personnel to ensure project goals are met
• Development and approval of load commissioning plans and procedures
• Manage the completion of performance and acceptance tests where required
• Co-ordinate the provision of Operations resources to the pre-commissioning and commissioning effort
• Preparing and issuing weekly/monthly Progress Reports
• Participate in site quality audits of the contractors and quality systems
