Our client is enjoying its recent success and has landed 3 major projects with 2 of the biggest mining giants in todays market. A Senior Project Manager is now required to focus on all the non process infrastructure works on a train load out facility and a brand new power station. Utilising their past success, our client is in line to secure many future large scale projects and provide construction services to the resource industry for years to come. Specific duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
The planning, development, control and delivery of a main focal point for a large $multi-million capital project.
To serve as the primary project management representative, responsible for all function, cost, schedule and execution of all project deliverables (design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up).
To plan, outline and manage all schedules and budgets in accordance with the overall project goals (scope, execution plan, schedule, estimate, risk mitigation and management, contract).
Taking responsibility for the project and representing it to the overall programme team and client representatives.
Further accountabilities extend to compilation of estimates & tenders, development of procedures and criteria on complex projects. You will also work with the General Manager to estimate and compile tenders & submissions for high profile clients in the region.
If you are able to offer 10 - 15 years experience managing large scale non process infrastructure projects in Australia or overseas with relevant Tertiary or Trade Qualifications we are very interested in having a confidential and informal discussion.
