One of the largest growing mid tier contractors is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSE coordinator to work on a large Mining project worth based in NSW. Use your experience in HSE to work closely with Project Managers to liaise with the client representatives on OH&S matters and consult with the project management team on a weekly basis for this large scale project.
Duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Implement OH&S Management Plans including assisting with the development of sub plans (Traffic Management, Emergency Management, Noise management etc) and ensure ongoing compliance
Maintain a library of applicable OH&S documents (legislation, codes of practice, Australian Standards, guidance material etc) and documents in accordance with the review schedule
Liaise with the relevant statutory authorities and conduct incident investigations and prepare investigation reports
Conduct pre-mobilisation meetings with each subcontractor and ensure subcontractors comply with the OH&S documentation requirements (Site Requirements, Safety Plans, SWMSs, Registers etc) and conduct regular subcontractor audits.

As an ideal candidate for this role you will need:
3-4 Years mining industry experience
3+ years experience in a similar HSE role
Cert IV in OH&S
Strong understanding of HSE
Excellent communication skills
