Supporting mining and infrastructure industries this growing environmental consultancy is expanding their team of scientists to keep up with their constant flow of work. My client is seeking two devoted and energetic Ecologists for the Brisbane office to work within a variety of areas to provide first-rate environmental advice and service to clients.

The suitable candidate will possess the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Zoology, Botany
• Ideally 2-5 years previous consultancy experience however experienced graduates or junior candidates with the right work attitude will be considered for one of the two roles.
• A passion for field work with skills with experience using different survey methodologies
• Good flora and fauna identification skills with the ability to use dichotomous key 
• An ability to work in a team of professionals to ensure that timelines and budgets are met.
• Strong verbal communication with an ability to engage in client relationships
• Good knowledge, interpretation and application of Queensland environmental legislation
• First-rate written communication and report writing with experience in working on Ecological Assessments.
• A good work ethic and positive attitude
