Our client is a leading Global manufacturer of special design mechanical systems; We have a strong career opportunity for a sales business development manager. This is a solid opportunity to join this excellent company who are a global leader in their field, market premium products with high quality service and reputation into the mining sector.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual that has the skills and energy to take on this new position and become an integral part in growing this existing product area to a major market share position along side their already established products. Ideally you will be: tertiary educated, technically minded, a relationship builder who is a switched on motivated sales specialist

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIG Contract sales with specifically assigned OEMs, contractors and operators through out theHunterValley. Sales responsibility includes new products and aftermarket sales such as repair, service and replacement parts.

The person must be able to:
  • Develop and maintain a sales forecast
  • Develop sales strategies specific to the area
  • Provide accurate market analysis and intelligence
  • Prepare sales presentations
  • Provide suggestions for earnings growth
  • Work with customers on clear and complete quotation requests
  • Provide a single point contact for assigned accounts
  • Negotiate acceptable terms and conditions of sale
Along with a strong customer service focus, your experience in mechanical solutions you will help you offer the soundest solutions to your clients. You will also have the capacity to trouble shoot and conduct analysis on mining equipment to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.

You may have a trade or engineering qualification coupled with industry experience. Excellent communication skills combined with strong PC and report writing skills are also essential. On offer is an exceptional base salary $100,000 +car + plus tools of the trade and all travel is paid for through the company with a strong uncapped comm. International travel is also requested as you will travel oversee to gain International training from the manufacturing base
