Production Supervisor / OCE

Ballantyne Recruitment is an executive recruitment consultancy with a number of established relationships with highly reputable Organisations within the Mining sector. Ballantyne Recruitment's Mining sector currently is seeking a Production Supervisor / Open Cut Examiner to start ASAP working out of the Hunter Valley region.
 
You will be responsible for managing shift activities in accordance with the Company's safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and production targets. You will be responsible for statutory checks of the pit, assisting with accident and incident investigations and risk assessments to ensure that corrective action is taken where deficiencies or non-conformances are identified. You will provide technical knowledge for correct drilling and blasting procedures and also indentifying areas of improvements to ensure efficiency.  

For you to be successful in this position you will need

• Current NSW OCE Statutory Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an open cut mining environment
• Safety focussed with strong communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Knowledge of NSW coal legislative requirements
• Ability to achieve production targets
