Role Summary/Purpose

  • Responsible for coordinating activities associated with product configuration and BOM generation for both Requisition Engineering and Manufacturing for Switchboard NPI
  • Essential Responsibilities Work with cross functional teams, including NPI, IT, Manufacturing, and others, to develop and design systems used to generate 3D models to support to the manufacturing process
  • Provide system automation for Switchboard Requisition Engineering processes
  • Promote open communication and maintain effective working relationships between Systems, Engineering and Manufacturing through self-directed motivation and high involvement
  • Use Six Sigma (DFSS and DFR) methodology to prove and implement new designs
  • Support project leaders in developing design plans, project schedule and facilitating project execution
  • Support manufacturing implementation of new products through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Bring innovation to the program to develop new generation products
  • Actively lead or participate in paper Pilot Run planning and execution
  • Intellectual Property (IP) analysis and support for the IP council team

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or Related studies
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on planning developing testing for HIRES Integration

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Green Belt certified (GE Employees Only)
  • Minimum 5 years experiences hires engineering

  • Excellent VB programming skills
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Demonstrate ability in analyzing testing and solving HIRES issues
  • Proven capabilities in HIRES programing and support
  • Willingness to take on challenging assignments in design, manufacturing, programming and other responsibilities of a NPI equipment program
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence and drive change / results
  • Takes ownership on project and drive results
  • Possess a high level of motivation and resourcefulness
