Testing Lab Manager
Position Summary:
- Lead team of quality control technicians in the testing of three product lines - aggregates, asphalt, and concrete products. Manage the day-to-day scheduling of development, leadership, safety, and motivation of team. Coordinate the effective execution of the San Antonio District Quality Control plan. Interact with operations, District management and Division QC Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering (Civil, Mining) or Business, or equivalent experience required
- Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Solid knowledge of QC discipline in one or more of product lines (aggregates, asphalt, or concrete)
- Experience interacting with governmental agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certifications from the American Concrete Institute (ACI Level 1) and/or Hot-Mix Association (HMA Level 1A, Level II) preferred
- Experience with AggQC a plus
