Senior Mine Engineer - Melbourne CBD based

A senior leadership role exists within this rapidly growing mine developer with global expansion plans that will see them being a significant producer within their field. This role is pivotal to these plans at their flagship site in regional NSW and as such reports directly to the Managing Director. The purpose of the role will to provide strategic level expertise across planning, optimisation, design and capital expansion. An excellent role to influence on strategy at an exciting growth stage of this ambitious organisation.
 
The role is extremely broad and acts as an internal subject matter expert advising key stakeholders on reserve planning and analysis, production, optimization, project design and LOM planning. The position has both strategic and  tactical influence and be tasked with developing best practices and continuous improvement as the organisation grows.
 
The successful candidate will be an experienced mine engineer with a broad range of experience now seeking a corporate role. Your experience will enable your to converse and influence at all levels within the organisation and at all stages of the mining cycle.  Knowledge of all necessary legislation is essential and previous exposure to the technicalities of open pit mine management  and mine planning are also key requisites. An ability to understand commercial relationship in contractor and supplier relations will be highly advantageous.
