Environmental Systems Officer

 Our client is an organisation undergoing major growth and development at the moment. Located in the heart of the thriving Gladstone area, our client is looking to add a talented environmental assistant to join their team and help take their project through to the next stage of development.

Supporting the HSE Manager, you will be involved with collecting data and information from across various sources on both the client and the contractor’s side around the environmental impact of the project’s various stages. Speaking with qualified experts in the field of environmental protection and legislation, it is critical that you can understand the priority and importance of particular pieces of information and portray this to the relevant stakeholders.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have either a tertiary qualification in a field relating to the environmental impact of infrastructure projects, or the hands on knowledge from working in a similar role. As this role has a heavy focus on data entry and maintaining the accuracy and clarity of information, a keen attention to detail is paramount. Excellent communication skills are also a must as you will be dealing with a number of different stakeholders across several departments and companies.
