They have are some very exciting projects in the pipeline and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
 
Role
 
As part of the team you will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering capabilities to foster and promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, cost and production outcomes.
  
Responsibilities; 

• Provide engineering support for the mine during the manufacture of the longwall system
• Coordinate maintenance on all longwall plant and equipment
• Oversee longwall equipment performance to ensure it meets productivity requirements

Skills and experience;

• Trade background with Associate Diploma or Bachelor Degree - Mechanical
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in reliability and/or diagnostic work would be highly regarded
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
• Proven maintenance management experience in underground mining
• Strong engineering and technical proficiency with the ability to identify and verify technical problems and requirements across underground mine infrastructure.
