Underground Mining Engineer / Alternate UG Manager
$190k package

We are currently working with a leading ASX Listed mining company who own this high quality Gold mine.  The mine is relatively new and has a long mine life but also the opportunity for a Senior Underground Mining Engineer to excel.  We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Underground Mining Engineer with potential for Alternate Mine Manager duties.  This is a great company and site to work on and will allow you to develop your career.  

As a Senior Underground Mining Engineer / Alternate Mine Manager you will be responsible for:

• Alternate Mine Management
• Underground Mine development, day to day planning and medium to longer term planning  
• Mine design work
• Working closely with Geotechnical teams
• Liaising with contractor at all levels including planning for Ventilation and Rock Fill work
• Project work as required

To be considered for this position of Underground Mine Engineer you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering
• 5 + years Underground experience
• Experience of software such as Surpac or Vulcan
• Excellent Communication skills
• Wide ranging skills and be able to lead independently
• Be an Australian resident; hold a valid visa or permanent residency
