Senior Mechanical Engineer

 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary engineering and calculations for commercial projects as well as industrial;
  • Responsible for conceptual design;
  • Preparation and review of relevant documentation, and providing guidance to designers and draftsmen;
  • You will ensure delivery of all technical engineering responsibilities to achieve project objectives within specified
  • timelines, man-hour estimates, schedules and budgets;
  • Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of design information throughout the project, while ensuring departmental and client standards
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer;
  • Experience on commercial as well as industrial projects, both as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and a Project Manager;
  • A thorough understanding of standard engineering methods, technologies and computerized design techniques;
  • Cross-functional experience with other engineering disciplines and fields of work
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements in Canada
  • You are experienced in the preparation of proposals, data sheets, specifications, packages, and technical bid evaluations;
  • You have demonstrated experience and expertise in equipment and materials specification and selection for a wide range of commercial, institutional and industrial building systems
