Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £25000 - £30000

We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified geotechnical design engineer to join an award winning consultancy in London. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical input for a number of large rail based design projects.

A Civil Engineering academic background is preferred ideally with a further qualification in geotechnical engineering.
Applicants must demonstrate geotechnical design capabilities surrounding slope stability and gravity embedded retaining wall design. It is essential that candidates are comfortable using Slope W analytical software.
Candidates should be familiar with site investigation supervision, contaminated land assessment and ground treatment options.

The position offers a competitive salary together with an excellent personal development scheme in addition to an attractive company benefits package.
