Field Assistant / Field Technician

This leading gold producer has operating mines across two continents as well as other projects in feasibility stages. In Western Australia they are going through a stage of major growth at their operational sites and hold a large presence in the gold market with a reputation as an employer of choice. Due to expansion plans and fast paced drilling programs planned for the new financial year they are seeking two experienced Field Assistants to start in late August.

You will have proven experience as both a Field Assistant and Pit Technician working on an active mine site. Your tasks will involve both resource development and open pit duties including drill rig sampling, GPS, pegging, data entry, ore spotting and grade control.  You will be a committed team player with an enthusiastic attitude.   

This excellent opportunity is being offered on an 8&6 FIFO from Perth roster with fantastic camp facilities and a great site culture.  You must pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, GSDU clearance.  It is essential you hold a current WA driver’s license and Senior First Aid certificate.
