My client is an Australian company that is a leader in providing professional services to the mining, oil and gas and energy sectors.  They are involved with a range of services from engineering to exploration, with the provision of services including the development of assets through to the services to maintain the assets.  
My client is in need of an IT Procurement Officer who will be involved with the acquisition and management of their Information Management and specialist software that is used by their Australian and New Zealand offices.
 
Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the full procurement process for Information Management and specialized software to meet deadlines
• Place purchase orders, chase up orders to meet schedule and ensure goods received are correct
• Conduct reporting on the IT services, reporting from GBS and Hyperion, monthly cost reporting of Information Management costs and licensing.

Requirements

• Atleast 4 years experience in a similar role
• IT procurement experience
• Knowledge of software licensing
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization
• Highly organized
• Strong MS communication package experience.
• Education in related area
