Technical Services Manager

Reporting to the Mine Manager and an integral member of the Site Senior Management Team, the Technical Services Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining mine design and plans to enable effective recovery of coal reserves. You will also develop and lead a team of mining professionals in providing engineering, technical and environmental services to support production activities and foster continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in planning and cost management
- Working knowledge of open cut coal operations
- Excellent leadership and staff development skills
- A strong knowledge of OH&S
- Strong Technical management
- A good approach to Clients
This role would ideally suit someone either with a proven track record of success in a similar role or as a Senior Mining Engineer looking to take the next step in career.
This position is offered on a 4 week on, 2 week off roster flying business class from point of hire or travel account to take you anywhere in the world on your time off.. Quality on site meals and accommodation will be provided while you are at site.
