Underground Shift Supervisor

This global mining company in Western Australia has recently uncovered a vacancy for a experienced underground supervisor at one of its Eastern-Goldfield based sites.

Due to the continued expansion and increased production this new position is seen as an essential role to fill. Reporting to the mine foreman you will use your previous supervisory experience to offer support, leadership, team focus and safety awareness. You will be able to work unsupervised, have great communication skills and be completely focused on supporting your team. Being a dedicated team player is a crucial element to this position as well as your impeccable self starting skills.

Technical experience in operating a twin jumbo as well as underground hard rock mining techniques including development are essential. You will be competent in all aspects of underground production including charging, firing, bogging and trucking as well as drilling experience.
A WA underground supervisor‘s certificate of competency is a non negotiable requirement.
