Sales Engineer

Key Performance Areas:

• Preparing and issuing of Company quotations for corrugated metal pipes (culverts), superlite pipes, charcoal kilns and water tanks.
• The writing out of all sales contract forms.
• Key Account Management.
• Travelling into Africa (West) and locally (when required)
• Visiting and establishing relationships with mining houses, civil consulting engineers, road contractors.
• Designing of mining tunnels ( training done in-house)
• Dealing with customers pertaining to the issuing of quotations, following up of existing orders and following up on outstanding quotations.
• Sales & Marketing functions as and when required.

Education And Experience:

• Diploma in Civil or Mech. Or Structural Eng.
• Previous sales experience necessary.
• Computer literacy.
• Good paperwork procedures
• Excellent telephone manner
• Ability to communicate with and deal with customers at a senior level.
• Previous technical experience.
• Must be in possession of a valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
