IT Auditor

This large and well known mining company seeks a qualified IT Auditor to join them at head office. The ideal candidate should have mining experience and CISA. The purpose of the job is to ensure that the control, governance and risk management is effectively managed by conducting independent reviews of the Information Technology (IT) processes and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys of the IT functions and activities in assigned areas so as to understand the nature of IT operations.
• Identify factors causing deficient conditions.
• Make informed, objective decisions on the effectiveness of the IT process/system reviewed
• Prepare reports.
• Keep up to date with law and legislation with regards to IT risk management.
• Must be competent on ACL.
• CISA
• Mining experience and minimum 4 years IT Audit experience
