Financial Controller

This well known Mining Company in Mozambique is looking for an individual with experience in mining to Provide efficient, effective and accurate costing support and advice to meet business (Corporate, Division and factory) objectives as the Financial Controller.

Qualifications:

• BCom Accounting
• Min. 6 years experience in a mining costing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively develop, manage, and control business unit profitability, and other financial and operational measurements.
• Recommend and implement improvements and control in the areas of pricing, Costings, etc.
• Develop, manage, and control Business Unit Profit and Loss Budgets/actual results.
• Analyse and control Operational profitability, developing plans to improve the results.
• Act as finance and control liaison between Direct Manager and Top Management.
• Ad Hoc financial feasibility studies.

Minimum requirements:

• Fluent in Portuguese
• In-depth experience of the Mozambican financial/legal system
