Production Foreman - Opencast Coal Mining Operation

A large Coal Mining company is looking to appoint a Production Foreman at their Graspan Opencast operation.

Candidates will need to comply with the following competencies.

  • Gr 12 or N3 Certificate
  • Code 08 drivers license
  • Opencast blasting certificate
  • Valid medical certificate
  • Ability to work in a production environment
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills
  • At least 5 years opencast experience as supervisor
  • willing to work shifts, overtime and standby.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Contracts
  • Maintaining production targets
  • Health, Safety & Environmental management
  • Management of Employee relations & training & Development.
