Senior Quality Control Specialist

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) uses extensive experience and advanced technological capabilities to develop and manufacture a wide range of leading-edge construction and mining machinery.  Our rigid truck manufacturing facility, located in Guelph, Ontario is also the Head Office, as has been in operation since 1973.  At this facility we employ approximately 425 employees.
 
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Team.
 
Senior Quality Control Specialist
  • The position will be responsible for cost of quality related to the Manufacturing process and reliability of the products. The position requires leading the quality control team to control manufacturing quality using various quality tools.
  • The incumbent will have completed a University degree in Quality management and possess a minimum of five (5) years previous experience.
  • The incumbent for the above position will possess the following skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively against deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure
  • Proven analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in a unionized environment
  • PC Literacy - MS Office: Word and Excel. Previous experience with ERP systems
