The Company
This mine is one of the largest sites in NSW and is operated by a Global Mining Company that has operations all over the world. Career experience and development are real as there are plans to expand their annual production by at least 5 million tones. They require a Electrical Engineer to work within a team of professionals in their fixed plant assets.
The Position
As an Electrical Engineer your main purpose is to be involved in the development of electrical designs, specifications, scopes, budget and project schedules across the fixed plant assets.
The Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working alongside an identically sized mechanical group in a fixed plant environment. It is essential that you have proven Engineering experience and demonstrated success in identifying opportunities to improve equipments performance. It is important that you can manage internal and external relationships as you will be required to provide electrical engineering input into the preparation of capital requests for sustain capital expenditure.
Key Skills Required
- Experience in Statutory Compliance
- Experience in Minerals Processing Plants (Coal Experience preferred)
- Extensive Electrical Engineering Experience
- Reliability and Operation Support Experience
Key Qualifications Needed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Membership of I.E. Australia
The Incentives
The base salary will start at approximately $140,000 but can be negotiated if you have exceptional experience. On top of this salary you will be given generous superannuation over 12% and bonuses of 10%. If you would like to relocate to the Hunter Valley, they will also pay for your relocation, offer temporary housing and then provide 6 months rental assistance.

Furthermore, you are only 2 hours from the coast and 3 hours from Australias major capital city as well.
