Mine Surveyor Underground

Our current client a world recognised mining company who are market leading gold producers in Australia are currently seeking a underground mine surveyor to join their successful underground mining operation.  


Reporting to the Senior Underground Mine Surveyor your duties will include,
  • Providing survey control, end of month volume calculations
  • Ensuring statutory requirements are met
  • Development and production mark ups for underground operation 
  • CMS stope surveys and processing in Surpac
  • Perform regular as built surveys of minded areas
  • Pick ups, mark ups, survey station and reporting

To be considered for this role you will require
  • Tertiary qualifications in mine surveying or a similar discipline  
  • Proven ability with GPS and one person survey stations
  • Building long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled in Vulcan, AutoCAD or similar software
  • Demonstrate good understanding or exposure to the Mine safety and inspection Act and Regulations
