We are currently seeking to engage an experienced mining superintendent to provide effective leadership and management to Production Supervisors and mining operators of the open pit operations. 
 
You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and contractors across the Prestrip and overburden functions, ensuring work is carried out in a safe, effective and cost-efficient manner and in line with production targets.  
 
Your general duties will range from:
 

• Ensure Production operations are conducted within the sites Health, Safety and Environmental Systems.
• Managing both Contractors and Service Providers relating to production operations onsite.
• Work towards achieving production targets via coordination of the production fleet and personnel
• Successful implementation of the mine planning process.
• Ensure statutory compliance with procedures, acts and adherence to the all relevant Standards
• Ensure contractor organisations are OHS compliant at all times
• Foster relationships across all key stakeholders
