Principle Mining Engineer

My client, a leading well known Mine consulting company based in Johannesburg is recruiting and seeking the expertise of a dynamic Principle Mining Engineer to join their team.

We are looking for your BSC Mining Degree with over 10 years in mining. Experience in coal mining.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing relationships with clients
• Conducting technical mining studies and other mining engineering assignments as applicable as part of a team
• Identifying, analysing, providing and communicating technical solutions and influencing operational strategies
• Liaison with clients at all levels
• Business development as appropriate
• Long and Short term mine planning
• Project Manage Due diligence; feasibility and pre-feasibility studies

Likely Background/Experience:

• At least 8-10 years’ coal mining experience
• 8 – 10 years’ experience at management level
• Experience up to management level on COAL mines
• Short and long term mine planning experience
• Very strong project management experience
• Strong client relationship skills
