Millwright

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Scheduling maintenance of all Mechanical Equipment using SAP planned Maintenance Programme
• Attending to all Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns to reduce production down time
• New Electrical installations and plant improvements / modifications
• Completing administrative tasks by utilizing SAP
• Compliance with company policies, health, safety and environmental regulations
• Ensuring that work execution is done in accordance with Company policies and procedure
• Participating, contributing and executing in cost saving initiatives, maintenance and equipment availability improvement programmes

Qualifications, competencies, knowledge and experience required:

• Three years experience as a qualified Millwright in a heavy industry or mining environment, with a minimum of N2 qualification
• A valid EB (Code 08) driver’s licence
• Excellent diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance techniques (i.e. Planning, controlling, condition monitoring, predictive and preventative)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer focused
• Computer literacy
