SECTION SURVEYOR - EE PREFERABLE

R600,000 - R900,000 Per Annum CTC

Permanent senior level position in the Mining (Earth) industry.

You will be responsible for maintaining and updating spatial data in relation to location of mine openings and infrastructure, ensuring that surveying and planned openings and  infrastructure is followed according to design. Work closely with Planning, Services and Operations departments to facilitate accurate mining and recording of mine workings. Your scope of work will include the collection, analysis and evaluation of survey data, preparation and maintenance of the mine model and survey plans as well as enforcing safety policies and procedures.

• A minimum of 5 - 10 years underground / Open-cast mine surveying experience is desirable.
• A ND / NHD / BTech Mine Surveying / MRM plus a GCC Mine Surveying is essential.
• Registration with PLATO would be advantageous.
