Manager, Lean Project

Position Summary

• The Lean Project Manager organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional projects engaging Sales, Proposal, Design, Mfg., and Lifecycle Support of ETO Systems and custom software solutions for global customers across four industry verticals (Heavy Industries, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas)
• Analyzes, plans and implements process improvement needs. Evaluates and models existing processes. Identifies improvement options.
• Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Collects data to identify root cause problems.
• Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.
• Identifies and manages resources, including cross-functional members, to successfully execute projects.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• Works with functional process owners to deploy plans from conception through to close.
• Delivers presentations and training courses including define, measurement, analysis, improvement and control courses.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of lean six-sigma leader experience.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in Strategy Deployment/Hoshin Kanri, Value-stream Mapping, Transactional Lean and Mfg. Lean Implementation, Design for Six Sigma, Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Assembly and Engineering, Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
