Billing Coordinator II

Position Responsibilities:

  • The Billing Coordinator II will be responsible for full-cycle client invoicing using Vision Project & Billing modules. This is an intermediate-level accounting support position requiring minimal supervision. As a member of the Accounting team, you will work directly with Project Managers and Principals to ensure timely invoicing based upon approved contractual terms.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Finalizing draft invoices and compiling backup documentation to prepare for mailing.
  • Reviewing, editing, and effectively resolving technical project accounting issues.
  • Responding to inquiries or questions regarding project report, account balances and general accounting practice and procedures.
  • Files all documentation regarding billing invoices as appropriate.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • A.A. in Business/Accounting required. 
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a computerized project accounting/billing environment and business practices or equivalent training and/or experience. 
  • Strong attention to detail and aptitude in working with numbers including mathematical calculations involving percentages, fractions, and decimals. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel; experience with Deltek Vision or Advantage is highly desirable. 
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately interpret and effectively act on information gained from standard financial documentation. 
  • High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high-stress environment. Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner. Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others. Ability to consistently meet deadlines, working additional time as needed to complete projects as previously defined.
