Our client is moving in on the exciting mining area of Rare Earth Metals which have recently been discovered throughout Australia. They are currently looking at developing a technologically advanced Rare Earths processing and mining facilities.

To develop these processing and mining facilities our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Mining Engineer to join this exciting new field.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic and tactical direction of the entire mining operation
  • Focus on mine planning, modelling, optimisation and design
  • Some Project Management of mine development
  • Possibility to go onto manage mining operations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Post Graduate experience
  • Strong background in open cut mine planning
  • Good knowledge of Surpac Design Software
  • Project Management skills
  • Mine modelling, optimisation and design experience
  • High attention to detail and good communication skills
Permanent staff position Perth< western Australia based role.
