Senior Mine Geologist
My Client is one of Australia's well established mining companies now looking to recruit an Senior Mine Geologist. The role will involve working on an exciting mining project based in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with a rapidly expanding organization.
The responsibilities of the senior mine geologist include:
Being highly involved in geologial activiteis leading a small team and reporting to the chief geologist. .
Supervising and coordinating drilling.
Resource and structural modelling, drilling design, block model creation and interogation.
Aim to develop a long term life of mine plan, liaise with the mine planning engineer to give strategic inout.
Provide supervision and leadership to junior geologists on site.
The requirements of the senior exploration geologist are:
Degree in Geology or related discipline
Need to have worked on underground mines.
Committed to safe work practices.
Profiency in MS word and mining software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent management and leadership skills.
FIFO role or residential role!!
