The Organisation:
This leading provider of engineering services to the global resources industry are currently looking to recruit a Project Services Manager. This role is instrumental in driving the efficiency and therefore success of this industry leader.
My client is involved with full cycle engineering, from conceptual studies, through to project delivery and execution of mining projects. They have a range of projects that vary from mineral sands through to ferrous and non ferrous metals projects.
The Role:
You will be based in Perth and be the main interface to your project staff and the client. You will be reporting directly into the general manager.
You and your professional team will cover studies through to execution on local and global projects.
You will be given full autonomy to drive the efficiency and quality in all the Controls functions of this business unit. You will also ensure that forecasting and reporting are 2nd to none.
The Successful Candidate:
Ideally the successful candidate will have at least 5 years running the project services function in a similar organisation. Candidates from the EPC/EPCM space will be highly regarded.
You should possess qualifications in engineering, project management or cost. However a proven track record in this environment is more key.
You should be "up" on the latest planning software(P6) and cost packages. You will also have a strong ability in estimating and procurement practices.
You will be a great leader and mentor, with exceptional training skills in order to develop your team.
