We at WYN Recruitment require a highly experienced SMP Supervisor with a proven track record working in EPCM roles to be part of one of 2012s leading east coast projects for a major global consultancy.
This outstanding project will be one of the worlds largest to convert coal-seam gas to LNG (liquefied natural gas) and will involve the construction of the upstream facilities from the gas fields to the processing plant. This will involve the construction of a pipeline stretching over 100 kilometers from start to finish.
As the SMP Supervisor your duties will include:
Monitor and ensure complying implementation of formal project standards and regulatory codes as appropriate to the projects needs
Installation of pipe spooling
Installation of piping, tie in point procedures, punch out and hydro test activities
Installation of large and small bore piping
Installation of pumps, equipment and pressure vessels\
Perform contract specific site audits on Suppliers/Contractors as directed
You must also have the following experience:
A minimum 4 years experience working on EPCM projects
A proven track record working on large scale Oil and Gas projects
Excellent knowledge and a solid understanding of all aspects of construction
Experience of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and OH&S procedures
Excellent communication skills
Be able to work in harsh and remote environments
