NAM Sales Leader

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead a Regional Sales Team on key sales opportunities
  • Specify critical resource needs required to meet business objectives
  • Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
  • Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or among global region
  • Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers
  • Meet or exceed revenue, and/or EBIT targets with the goal of growing operating profit year to year
  • Develop and manage third party distribution channels and direct employees to maximize revenue generation, market penetration and profit
  • Coordinate with product managers, product specialists, and marcom to ensure the appropriate level of marketing and applications support is provided within the region
  • Develop and implement long-term distribution strategies for the region
  • Provide sales / product training to sales team to ensure a high level of effectiveness and efficiency
  • Convey to the company feedback regarding competitive activities, general market conditions, customer feedback regarding products and services, new product ideas, and distribution changes
  • Manage the expense budget allocated for sales activities
  • Provide company with accurate and timely forecasts and metrics for the appropriate territories and product lines utilizing Pivotal
  • Understand and manage the sales funnel to meet short- and long-term sales objectives using the company’s CRM software tools
  • Ensures compliance with all GE policies including environmental health and safety 


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience Marketing or Sales Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to develop influential customer relationships, plans, sales strategies, presentations, and proposals
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of the assigned products and their application to the industry
  • Educational background in Chemistry or related degree
