Human Resources Recruiter

Overview:

Pyramid Corporation is seeking a Recruiter to be a part of building and development of our people for our projects and area offices. Our people are who we are and building our workforce is our Human Resources mission. Pyramid’s Human Resources are actively engaged in the external labor market and target our ideal Tradesperson for our specialized projects. This is a fantastic, challenging, fast paced opportunity for a dynamic, motivated individual.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and identify a customized applicant sourcing and tracking strategy to create a strong pool of qualified candidates. This includes database mining, cold calling, networking, career fairs, social media and other sources
• Proactively contact individuals to communicate Pyramid’s employee value proposition and culture
• Review resumes and phone screen candidates for various trade/craft positions
• Respond to phone and email inquiries individuals seeking employment
• Develop and maintain internal relationships with other recruitment team members and area managers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities & Personal Characteristics:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Coordination / Recruitment position from a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong phone manner and outstanding professionalism
• Excellent organizational and execution skills and the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Advanced computer skills, experience with internet search, applicant tracking systems and social media
• Excellent employee service focus and team player
• Ability to work and make decisions independently
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Experience in cross-border Recruiting as asset

Education & Other:

• Certificate/diploma/degree in a relevant discipline
